  1. Network Overview

Proof of Capture

Proof of Capture (POC) is the mechanism the Spexi Network uses to ensure captured imagery is authentic and high quality. Each time a pilot captures a Spexigon, a flight record is generated and minted on the blockchain represented by an NFT. When the pilot uploads their captured imagery to the network, the flight metadata is cross-referenced against that same NFT for authenticity.

All imagery also goes through quality assurance processes to ensure attributes like sharpness, resolution, and daylight are sufficient based on the area and time the images were captured.

If the uploaded images pass all POC checks, the pilot receives their reward.
