Cash + Reputation Points (RPs)
When the Spexi Testnet launches, users will earn Reputation Points, cash, or other compensation mechanisms for collecting and uploading verified imagery to the network. Spexi will be constantly improving the reputation points system, its relationship with platform utility and potentially cash rewards, over time to benefit the entire network.
Earning Cash
During the current Testnet phase, pilots can earn cash for capturing and successfully uploading verified flights to the network. Cash reward amounts are displayed within the Spexi Mobile App and the pilots user account.
Payouts will be transferred to pilots that have successfully verified their payment information with the Spexi team.
Earning Reputation Points (RPs)
At present, RPs are earned when users act in a way that contributes to the overall well-being or health of the network.
How to earn RPs:
Each successfully uploaded verified flights = +25 RPs
How to loose RPs:
Each failed uploaded Spexigon = -25 RPs
Incomplete or cancelled reservation = -30 RPs
RPs can be earned for generally good and productive user behaviour, but they can also be deducted for actions that harm the health of the Spexi Network.
Examples of actions that might result in RPs being deducted from a user’s account:
Taking too long, or failing to upload imagery from a captured Spexigon
Attempting to upload imagery that is spoofed or tampered with
Operating in an unsafe or irresponsible manner
Uploading imagery that’s collected outside of reasonable collection times for adequate lighting
Just as in real life, a good reputation takes a long time to build and a short time to destroy. Reputations are fragile. Bad actors will lose RPs much faster than they can earn them.
RPs are intended to have many benefits that users may enjoy. Especially in the early days of the Spexi Network, users with a strong reputation are intended to have a much better chance of earning in the future.
